PhotoDropper: Find and Use Great Images in your WordPress Blog
Flickr has hundreds of Creative Commons licensed photos available in its database, but finding and adding them to your blog is a chore.
On Nov 29, Skelliewag ran a story about finding Creative-Commons licensed images in Flickr ( through the Flickr: Creative Commons page ). PhotoDropper automates the entire process for your wordpress blog.
PhotoDropper = WordPress + flickr + Awesome Creative-Commons Licensed Images.

Documentation: How PhotoDropper Works
Right now, PhotoDropper is only useful if you are hosting wordpress. It would be amazing if it was available on wordpress.com, but image bandwidth will cost a premium on both sides (flickr & wordpress.com), when hundreds of bloggers start using it. Perhaps, wordpress.com can talk to Yahoo-Flickr and make PhotoDropper available as a paid plugin.
Pros: easy access to hundreds of images on flickr. User-friendly, it intergates nicely with WordPress write-post page. It automatically inserts Attribution and License information with the image.
Cons: you have to install the wordpress plugin, not available (yet?) on wordpress.com. It would be nice if photodropper supported other sources like photobucket, smugmug, yotophoto etc.
Inching slowly towards WorldWideWeb, one babystep at a time.
